Calorad - The lose weight while you sleep plan
Calorad is a supplement which contains aloe vera and collagen protein. The instructions are that you take some each night before going to bed and you'll lose weight. The other part of the Calorad and Calorad 2000 diet plan are that you aren't supposed to eat anything past 8 p.m.
When looking at Calorad and some of the other collagen based programs that have been marketed in the past you'll see that they are relying on the fact that most people eat a lot of junk food between 8:00 and 11:00 at night. By simply not eating during this time period you'll probably reduce the amount of calories you eat by a wide margin.
So what is Calorad anyway? It's two main ingredients aloe vera and collagen protein aren't exactly known as fat burners. Aloe vera is a mild laxative and collagen protein is simply broken down animal protien, if that's what you want then why not just eat an egg?
If you follow the Calorad advice of not eating 3 hours before bedtime which is 8 for most people you'll find if your like most, you'll be eating about 500 calories less a day as that is when the chips, popcorn and ice cream are eaten.
