A simple 7-day diet of do-it-yourself cabbage soup diet plus a mixture of other fruits & vegetables and a little meat. Despite many ludicrous claims, cabbage does not possess any 'fat-burning' properties.
What you eat on the cabbage soup diet
Day 1
Home-made cabbage soup, plus any fruit, apart from bananas.
Day 2
Home-made cabbage soup, plus other vegetables, including a baked potato with butter for dinner (potatoes are off-limits on other days)
Day 3
Home-made cabbage soup, plus other fruits and vegetables.
Day 4
Home-made cabbage soup, plus anything up to 8 bananas and fat-free milk.
Day 5
Home-made cabbage soup, plus 6 tomatoes and up to 450 grams of meat or fish.
Day 6
Home-made cabbage soup, plus meat and vegetables.
Day 7
Home-made cabbage soup, plus brown rice, pure fruit juice, and vegetables.
From reading the above cabbage soup diet you can see it's very low in calories and will get pretty bland after a few days. You probably will lose up to 10 lbs. on it however you should know that it will be mostly excess water loss.
